No! All of our classes are designed to be beginner-friendly unless otherwise noted.
You will definitely get dirty, but everything comes out in the wash so it's really up to you! Ideally, nails should be cut short and closed toed shoes are recommended.
There are not designated parking spaces, however there is plenty of free 2-hour street parking.
All classes include instruction, clay, use of studio tools and equipment, glazing, and kiln firing unless otherwise noted.
For one-off workshops and single-session classes, the class fee includes one finished piece per participant. Additional pieces may be fired and kept for $10 per piece.
For multi-week workshops and semester sessions, there is no per-piece limit. Students may create multiple pieces throughout the course, within reasonable studio guidelines.
Ceramics takes time. After your class, pieces must fully dry before their first firing (bisque), then be glazed and fired again. Most work is ready for pickup approximately 3–4 weeks after your class, depending on drying time and kiln schedules.
We’ll notify you when your pieces are ready.
Finished work must be picked up within 30 days of notification. We will make multiple attempts to contact you using the email or phone number provided. Due to limited storage, pieces left beyond 30 days may be discarded without further notice.
A minimum of 48 hours notice is required for all cancellations. Requests made within 48 hours of the scheduled time are not eligible for refund and will be issued a one-time reschedule at the studio's discretion.
Pottery is unpredictable. While we handle work with care, breakage can happen and is part of the process. Because ceramics involves multiple firing stages, we cannot guarantee finished results.
Unfortunately, no. All pieces must be dried, fired, glazed, and fired again before pickup, which typically takes 3–4 weeks.
